“Someone should probably do something about this.”

For Dan, that thought came after seeing firsthand how quickly garbage bins can become dirty, smelly, and honestly… pretty brutal to deal with. Between busy family life, overflowing waste, and the smells that seem to stick around forever, it became obvious that clean bins aren’t just a luxury—they’re part of keeping a home and community healthy.

As a firefighter, Dan has always cared deeply about serving people and building stronger, safer communities. And weirdly enough… that starts with the things most people ignore—like waste, cleanliness, and the spaces around our homes.

So instead of complaining about the problem, he decided to solve it.

What started as a simple idea turned into Refresh Cleaning Services: a local Edmonton company dedicated to helping families keep their homes cleaner, fresher, and just a little less gross.

By day, Dan fights fires. On his time off, he fights dirty bins.

And honestly? Both matter more than people think.
